Amethyst
Chromesthesia, or sound-to-color synesthesia, is a condition in which sound involuntarily evokes experiences of color, shape, or movement. This concept forms the basis of the Chromesthesia series. Releases in this series are artifacts of remote, improvised performances over the internet by members of the Exposure Therapy collective. The color and root note pairings serve as a shared anchor, offering a common reference for interpretation while the musical framework maintains cohesion among the performers. For this album, four members of the Exposure Therapy collective improvised together remotely, all responding to the color Amethyst. Amethyst has historically represented purity, clarity, and spiritual sobriety over the ages.

Actor Network
Berlin, Germany
Berlin-based Actor Network (Johannes Herseni) is a classically trained trombonist and electronic musician. Stripping away all but the atmospheric, his music explores the qualities of loud, unrestrained sounds reflected in architectural spaces, blending together deeply echoing remnants that reverberate through massive, industrial environments.

Heliocentrist
Atlanta, GA, USA
Heliocentrist is the experimental music project of Atlanta-based Adam Nguyen. Exploring minimalism, repetition, loose structures and gentle sonic textures, multi-instrumentalist Nguyen finds inspiration in acoustic and analog sound sources within the creative constraints of a small modular synthesizer system.

onewayness
Erie, PA, USA
onewayness is Adam Holquist, a composer, musician, sound designer, and multi-media creator from Erie, Pennsylvania. He uses guitars, pianos, analog and digital synthesis, spoken word and field recordings, and a variety of hardware and software tools to create atmospheric and textural music which draws influence from ambient, drone, minimalism, post-rock, and vintage and contemporary electronic 'listening music'.
